Geo-System® Minipalo Technology
Minimally invasive deep foundation underpinning using high-strength self-drilling hollow bars
MINIPALO GEO-SYSTEM® is a patented system for strengthening the foundations of buildings affected by foundation settlement, instability, or cracking caused by a loss of soil bearing capacity.
The technology involves the installation of a minimally invasive deep underpinning system using high-strength self-drilling hollow bars connected by valved couplers. The bars are installed to a depth sufficient to reach soil layers capable of providing greater structural stability.
Edilsystem is licensed to use the MINIPALO GEO-SYSTEM® patent and carries out targeted foundation strengthening works on residential, industrial, and commercial buildings, as well as existing structures.

How It Works
The system transfers structural loads from shallow soil layers, which may be compromised or no longer adequate, to deeper, stronger strata.
The self-drilling hollow bars perform the drilling, reinforcement, and injection functions simultaneously, minimizing disruption and allowing rapid installation even where working space is limited.
System Benefits
- Minimally invasive installation, reducing excavation and demolition work.
- Faster execution compared with traditional techniques.
- High mechanical strength of the self-drilling bars.
- Suitable for confined or hard-to-access spaces.
- An engineered solution designed and calculated according to soil and structural conditions.
- Long-term stabilization of foundations affected by settlement.
Fields of Application
MINIPALO GEO-SYSTEM® is suitable for foundation strengthening works on masonry and reinforced concrete buildings, residential and industrial structures, damaged buildings, and structures affected by differential settlement.
It can be used to strengthen existing shallow foundations, improve overall building stability, and make existing structures affected by foundation instability safe, as well as to stabilize retaining walls and gabion structures.
