Description of the Works

The project involved the execution of specialist structural works as part of the completion, restoration and functional upgrading of the “Nazzareno De Angelis” Municipal Theatre of L’Aquila, with particular reference to the seismic improvement of the building.

In particular, Edilsystem S.r.l. acted as a specialist subcontractor, carrying out retrofit seismic isolation works on reinforced concrete columns.

The assigned activities included the operational phases required for the preparation, installation and positioning of the devices and structural components designed to provide seismic isolation for the building.

Particular attention was paid to managing the execution phases within an existing and protected building, characterised by restricted working spaces and the presence of concurrent works, with the aim of ensuring the correct execution of the specialist works, the safety of the operators and the protection of the integrity of the building undergoing restoration and functional upgrading.
