Description of Intervention

The project involved the execution of specialized work to structurally retrofit and improve the seismic safety of the “Leonardo Da Vinci” Scientific High School complex, located in Florence. As part of this major construction project, commissioned by the Metropolitan City of Florence, Edilsystem S.r.l. served as a specialized subcontractor, assuming exclusive responsibility for the technical work involved in the seismic isolation of the building’s foundation. The core of the structural work involved the installation of an advanced seismic isolation system integrated into the reinforced concrete framework of the existing building. Edilsystem S.r.l. managed the entire implementation cycle of the complex structural retrofit project, working in full compliance with the construction drawings and under the direct supervision of the site engineers.
