Description of the Works

The project involved the definitive static restoration and seismic upgrading, in accordance with Ministerial Decree D.M. 14/01/2008, of the gravity wing walls and abutments of the motorway underpass.

The works addressed a severe cracking and structural deterioration condition caused by the original absence of separation joints, the lack of reinforcement, and the absence of drainage systems behind the embankments.
